The following pictures and captions are contributed by Rob Novak regarding his refrigeration compressor protection project.

The project goal is to build a box around the Adler Barbour refrigeration compressor. I have bumped it a few times and bent some of the cooling fins and decided
it would pay off in the long run to protect it. The milk crate is strong and provides for good ventilation for the compressor.

Tools and materials required:

·        saber saw

·        screw driver

·        wood file

·        drill and bits6 stainless screws

·        milk crate

Image ref-1 - Starting point

Image ref-2 - Cut outs in the milk crate to accommodate connections at the
back of the compressor and bilge pump hose. Used the wood file to take off
sharp edges

Image ref-3 - Installed with 6 stainless screws into the platform.
Predrilled holes in the base.

Image ref-4 - Complete installation
