• The outside dimensions of the fiberglass frame behind it are... 17 3/8" x 21 1/2"
   

• The opening is a little larger than 12 1/2" x 16 1/2" since these are the inside opening frame measurements.
   

• The frp frame goes into or over the fiberglass interior liner cutout and covers the raw foam that would be exposed or need covering otherwise.
